Wolberg Donates $10,000 to City Mission of Schenectady

For 100 years, Wolberg has been proud to serve the Capital Region — and in this milestone year, we’re Looking Back & Giving Forward to the community that has supported us. The City Mission’s work is nothing short of inspiring: providing meals for the hungry, safe shelter 24/7, and job training programs that help men and women build brighter, more sustainable futures.

We are humbled to support their mission and the thousands of individuals and families who find hope and opportunity through their doors. While we celebrate 100 years in business, City Mission is already in their 119th year of faithfully serving those in need — a remarkable legacy we are honored to stand alongside.

Here’s to the next 100 years of serving our community — together.

From their thriving Food Pantry and Thrift Store to their Wellness Empowerment

Center and Community Café, People’s Place continues to uplift lives with kindness and opportunity. We’re grateful to stand beside them as they nourish both body and spirit in our community.

We’re honored to stand beside them in their mission to ensure everyone has a place at the table.

Wolberg Donates $10,000 to Operation At Ease

As part of our 100th Anniversary Looking Back, Giving Forward campaign, Wolberg is giving away $10,000 every month for 10 months in 2025 to local nonprofits as our way of celebrating and thanking the community that has supported us for a century.

On June 30, 2025, we proudly presented a $10,000 donation to Operation At Ease, an incredible organization dedicated to Helping Those Who Serve, Saving Dogs, and Changing Lives.

Operation At Ease rescues dogs from shelters and pairs them with deserving
veterans and first responders, providing a free guided training program to
create post-traumatic stress and mobility service dogs. These special dogs are trained to assist with some truly life-changing tasks—helping their handlers
reclaim independence, safety, and peace of mind.

Beyond service dog training, they also offer resources like free therapy dog support, ensuring lasting care and connection for our country and community heroes.

This donation reflects our commitment to One Mission, One Family, 100 Years.

We are honored to support the powerful work of Operation At Ease.
